Use saved guidance in a reviewed request.

Bring relevant guidance into a reviewed request.

Apply reusable guidance to this request

A Knowledge collection can hold approved product facts and voice guidance across related conversations.

Review the selected version

Check the collection or project default and any one-request selection before writing. The resolved request shows what context is applied or only recorded.

Check the saved draft

Compare names, prices and claims with the approved entries. A one-turn override can guide one request without silently changing the reusable collection.

Guidance is not a fact checker

Knowledge informs supported requests; it does not certify model output. For one item with named fields, use a content record. For broader voice and visual guidance, see Brand.

Example AskGL request

Choose Writing · with selected Knowledge
Write a brief product introduction using only the approved name, origin and voice guidance in the selected Knowledge. Omit any price not supplied.

Replace sample facts with approved details. Source selection and later review, comparison or packaging happen in the workspace, outside the prompt text.

THE USEFUL DETAILS

Good to know.

Creation notes

Prepare your starting point

Select current approved guidance that applies to the deliverable, and inspect what preparation includes. Give the draft an audience, length and factual boundary. Content records can supply named details, while Knowledge holds longer guidance; neither authorizes inventing a missing claim or price.

Knowledge for creation
Review what you keep

Read the complete draft against the selected context. Revise the output separately from updating Knowledge for future requests. Earlier saved work retains its recorded guidance, so inspect revisions when facts change instead of treating source updates as automatic changes to past outputs.

Common questions

Is every catalog capability enabled?

No. Catalog candidates, registered integrations and currently enabled workspace choices are different. Check support stage and the actual preparation controls.

How should I choose the next tool?

Use the contextual links for the source, artifact or decision you have now. A feature explains a tool, a workflow explains its steps and an output guide explains the saved result.
