Show one selected result in a controlled public view

Preview the exact eligible revision, activate its release when ready and stop public access when needed.

Choose what a release shows

A release points at one eligible selected artifact revision. Previewing and activation are deliberate steps.

Review the public view

Pick the exact result you are ready to show and inspect the release preview. Check its visible content and access before activating it.

Control availability

Manage the release from Work and stop public access when needed. Private edits can continue without silently changing the selected public version.

A release is one selected result

This does not publish a full website or social campaign. If the job is to hand several files to someone else, use a delivery set. For feedback before release, see focused review.

THE USEFUL DETAILS

Good to know.

Creation notes

Prepare your starting point

Inspect the exact artifact and choose the revision intended for viewing. Check that the supported format fits the deliverable. A release is a bounded public view, not a general social publishing connection. Opening a marketing example does not activate a release or share private source material.

Prepare selected delivery files
Review what you keep

Review visible wording and imagery in the preview before activation. Stop access when the selected view should no longer be available, and continue private editing without implying that every revision silently replaces the public one. Use content sets when the deliverable is a collection of files rather than one released view.

Common questions

Is every catalog capability enabled?

No. Catalog candidates, registered integrations and currently enabled workspace choices are different. Check support stage and the actual preparation controls.

How should I choose the next tool?

Use the contextual links for the source, artifact or decision you have now. A feature explains a tool, a workflow explains its steps and an output guide explains the saved result.
