Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions

What is Promptha?

Promptha is an AI-powered platform for creating, managing, and publishing web content. It uses prompts to generate fabrics (HTML components), which can be published as live sites.

What pricing plans are available?

Promptha offers 4 tiers: FREE ($0/month with 100 AI credits), STARTER ($5/month with 500 credits), PRO ($19/month with 2,000 credits), and ENTERPRISE (custom pricing). Each plan includes different limits for fabrics, sites, and workflow runs.

What are AI credits and how do they work?

AI credits are used for AI-powered actions. Creating a prompt costs 10 credits, a fabric costs 20 credits, a site costs 15 credits, and running a workflow costs 5 credits. Credits reset monthly based on your plan, and you can purchase additional credits that never expire.

What are the limits for each plan?

FREE: 5 fabrics/month, 1 site, 0 workflows, public prompts only. STARTER: Unlimited fabrics, 5 sites, 50 workflow runs/month. PRO: Everything unlimited, 500 workflow runs, team features. ENTERPRISE: Unlimited everything plus BYO API keys.

Do I need coding knowledge to use Promptha?

No! Promptha is designed to be accessible to everyone. While understanding HTML can be helpful, you can create amazing content using natural language prompts and our Studio mode.

What's the difference between a Prompt and a Fabric?

A Prompt is a template that tells the AI what to create. A Fabric is the actual output generated from that prompt - it's the HTML content you can use or publish.

Can I customize generated fabrics?

Yes! You can fork any fabric and modify it to match your needs. Changes are saved as a new version, so you never lose the original.

How do I publish a site?

Open any fabric, click 'Publish as Site', configure your SEO settings and custom slug, then click 'Publish'. Your site will be live immediately at promptha.com/site/your-slug. Note: FREE plans are limited to 1 site.

Are my prompts and fabrics private?

You control the visibility. FREE plan users must make prompts public, but paid plans can create private content. You can always choose whether fabrics are public or private.

What happens when I run out of credits?

You'll see an upgrade prompt when you try to perform an action without sufficient credits. You can upgrade your plan for more monthly credits or purchase additional credit packages that never expire.

What are Workflows used for?

Workflows automate repetitive tasks. For example, you can process a CSV file and generate multiple fabrics at once, or chain multiple AI operations together. FREE plans can view workflows but not run them.

Can I use my own AI API keys?

Yes! ENTERPRISE plan users can connect their own OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or DeepSeek API keys for more control and potentially lower costs.

How do I share my fabrics with others?

Make your fabric public, and anyone can view, like, and fork it. You can also publish it as a site for a more polished presentation.

What file formats can Workflows process?

Workflows currently support CSV and JSON input files. Output can be exported as CSV, JSON, or HTML depending on your workflow configuration.

Can I collaborate with a team?

Yes! PRO and ENTERPRISE plans support team workspaces where you can share prompts, fabrics, and workflows with team members.

How do I upgrade my plan?

Go to Settings → Billing or visit /pricing to compare plans. Click 'Upgrade' on your desired plan and complete the checkout process. Your new limits take effect immediately.

Can I downgrade my plan?

Yes, you can downgrade at any time from Settings → Billing. Your new limits will apply at the start of your next billing cycle. Any content exceeding the new limits will remain accessible but you won't be able to create more until you're under the limit.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

You can report bugs or request features through our support page. We actively review all feedback and prioritize based on user needs.
